there are so many things that go into finding an apartment to rent. who knows if it's worth moving from uptown to downtown. couldn't there just be a store where they say, "this is the perfect place for you!" and it has all the things i'm looking for, it's beautiful, and is a reasonable price! in a dream world...

"the social network" trailer!

i saw this trailer for the movie "the social network" during the previews to inception the other night! needless to say... i can't wait to see it! and as a added bonus, my elementary school crush, justin timberlake is back into the movie making business with his n'sync looking curly hair. so, does me being excited for this movie make me a justin timberlake obsessed, facebook junkie? possibly... oh well, ENJOY!

ah, ps. for those of you who are wondering where those photo's are of my internship, camping trip, etc. you won't find them here. just found out this morning that the friend i lent the camera to, took it upon herself to delete the photos on my camera to make more room for hers. super...

boy, girl, boy, girl.

it's tuesday, and gorgeous outside! 27 degrees, not too humid, and a little bit breezy! what more could i ask for :) this morning i went for my usual workout, came home and had some NEW cereal for breakfast (the other box i had in my cupboard went staaaaale in a matter of 2 days), showered, and then i went to the st. lawrence market to pick up a twelve grain baguette for dinner tonight. the one bakery that's in the market makes the best bread! anyways, now i'm back home and having some cherries and veggies with dip for lunch, and then i have some laundry and cleaning to catch up on. i slacked on my laundry routine this weekend, so i have some major washing to do.

speaking of the weekend, i was able to spend some time with alex and we had an awesome weekend!
friday: he worked until 7:30pm and then didn't get home until 9 something, so we just had a low key night at home looking up vacation possibilities.

saturday: went to yoga together! it was his first time, and lets just say he isn't flexible or bendy haha... then came home made stuffed pancakes for breakfast (YUM!), and chilled at home for a bit. saturday night we saw inception! it was SO GOOD! i definitely recommend it to everyone!

sunday: woke up early and went to a local farmers market and walked around the neighbourhood! i found these delicious yellow zucchini's that i'm making tonight for dinner! then met up with some friends to go to centre island! it was so much fun! i had no idea it what to expect, so i was thinking something small and old, and mostly for kids. but it was HUGE, and so clean and so much fun! can't even explain what it looks like! and the view of the city from the water was beautiful.

monday: alex had the day off because he is starting to work on saturday's now, so we spent the day doing cleaning and errands, banking, etc. had leftovers for dinner, and then went to SALT in the evening. hmm... not so good. but not the worst either.

well, i'm sure whoever is reading this (if anyone at all) is getting sick of hearing about my weekend, so i'm off!

hey there,

just got in from sunning and reading out on my patio. the weather is lovely today! this morning, me and a friend went for a run as a workout because i did upper body and abs at the gym yesterday and i'm a bit sore. then i had an appointment with the management office in my condo. i lost my remote entry key, and it's basically the key to EVERYTHING. and when i say everything, i mean the gate to enter into the property, to enter into the parking garage, to enter into the vestibule where the elevators are, to make the elevator move, the enter into the lobby of the building, the gym, the change rooms, the pool. it's been missing for over a week now, and i've been annoying the concierge to let me into everything. anyways, $100.00 later, i have a new one. who knew that something so little and irrelevant to everything else but my apartment would be so expensive! and i'm not exactly "rolling in the dough" either, so i guess i will have to cherish this one with my life!

anyways, after my meeting i looked up more vacation possibilities for alex and i in september and then i had some things to return at walmart (my most hated place..) after that, i headed downtown and pick up a course calendar at the university. i believe my class registration is on the 20, so i have A LOT of researching to do so i pick the right classes that i need.

tonight, i'm making a spinach salad with herb crusted chicken for dinner and then possibly rent toy story 1 & 2? alex wants to go see toy story 3, and i've never watched any of the movies so i have some catching up to do!

whoops! lost track of time, have to get ready and pick up alex from the bus terminal!

it's the end of an era.

i'm sure for the most part, everyone has either heard of, or watched the MTV show The Hills. well, last night was the end of the series! it has been entertaining me for the past six+ years! and i have no idea what i am going to watch on tuesday nights anymore!? here are a couple photos of everyone at the finale last night!

42 degrees today with the humidity, and i am loving the heat wave despite everyone else's feelings. i will admit it's a bit on the reeeally warmer side, but most of us spend so much time complaining about the cold that it's hard for me to complain when it's a tad warm. since my last post quite a bit has happened. i started and finished my internship with IWB Architects and Evergreen Brickworks, i graduated from the architectural studies program at george brown college, and i went on my very first camping trip! all of which were super exciting and fun! i will post pictures as soon as i get my camera back from a friend. yes, you heard me right.. i actually have pictures which is a pretty rare occurrence.

today has been a lazy morning so far.. i had an early workout this morning, then came home and showered and ate breakfast and i've been watching beverly hills 90210 on tvshack ever since. i'm attempting to get through all the seasons and am currently on season 5! love old shows. for the rest of the day, i don't think i have much planned other than class tonight at 6:30. maybe try and get some sun on the patio, but its more smoggy and hot, than sunny and hot today.

anyways, i think it's been 54 minutes since my last viewing of megavideo haha.. i'll post pictures soon.
