thank goodness its tuesday! since last week, i've been going non-stop with school work. today i handed in phase one of my LEED project! i thought that it would have been a short assignment that would take only a couple hours.. low and behold, 7 hours later, and feeling like i live at school, i finally finished! bah!
other than that, not a whole lot is new with me other than school. friday, i have my drafting class, and then i have an appointment with my technical writing prof to go over my research paper with me. i really hope i don't have a lot of things to correct.. i just want to finish my last little bit and start preparing my presentation. speaking of which... i'm a little nervous about because it's twenty minutes all by myself. usually my presentations only run about 15 at the most, and i usually have one more person with me. hopefully, everything goes well!!!
i'm SUPER excited for this weekend! it's valentine's day AND chinese new years! conveniently they happen to fall on the same day this year! tomorrow, i am going to visit my grandparents and bring them over a bunch goodies for the new year, and have a big family dinner with everyone! then on saturday, i am hoping to make it to the mall to look for a dress for v-day. i have a dress at home i can wear, but maybe i can find something new, cute, and inexpensive! then sunday is the big day! my most favourite holiday!!! even when i was single i loved it! plus, now i get something pretty every year <3 hehe. i'm not sure what we are doing yet (he has kept it under wraps) but i will keep everyone posted!
anyways, i'm going to go for a hot tub and catch up on some leisure reading!
